This flickr site is dedicated mainly to my passion for Hibiscus. My passion is collecting good Hibiscus variety for my garden. Collected 40+ varieties so far from Mauritius, Malaysia, and Singapore.

But why Hibiscus? Growing Hibiscus to some people, might not be so rewarding, mainly the fact the most Hibiscus flowers last only ONE DAY! But I take it this way, for this one day, my Hibiscus is going to give me its best and give its most beautiful side. To me, this is the best reward!

I am also very passionate about fishing and I hunt for Peacock Bass at Singapore Bedok Reservoir. My buddies and I fish there every Sunday rain or shine. Results have been good and I seldom fail. I practice catch and release to ensure that the fish stock is sustainable.

I am now venturing into macro photography and I will be starting to explore HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography

On camera, I use the Canon 50D DSLR, hoping to achieve more details on the flowers. My photos here were captured with my previous camera, the 10.1-mega pixel Canon Powershot G7 and EOS 400D. I bought a used Canon 5D Mk1 and experimented it for a month or so, did not like it very much. I use a spare Casio EXILIM S770 7.1 Mega Pixel for fishing activities. It is more handy with so many things on my hands during fishing. Just added a Canon Powershot G12 during Xmas 2010!

I am still a beginner, and eager to learn more about photgraphy. I have the following lenses
