  That's not the main reason she deserves your attention though - She's one of the finest macro nature photographers out there on the streams. All her images are of an impeccably high standard, both in capture and post processing. The term "picture postcard" is bounced around a lot these days, but her images could and should be on postcards, greetings cards, motivational posters etc... Very inspirational indeed.
  
  Soft and cute may not be for all you butch men (or women) out there, but we can ALL learn to be better photographers by looking at what she does and applying her creative techniques in our own work.

  "Martha wird mir -sicher- verzeihen, wenn ich ihren Namen manchmal auf "Marthaaah" erweitere, denn das hat seinen Grund: Marthaaah ist eine Inspiration (das hab' ich irgendwo abgeschrieben ... weil 's bei ihr stimmt!). - Mit ihr geht 's mir wie mit Menschen ;o) : Man begegnet sich zufällig und verliert sich wieder aus den Augen. Oder auch NICHT. Bei Marthaaah ist 's "oder auch NICHT".
  Warum? ... Weil ! :
  Schaut euch ihre Bilder an, speziell die ihrer Blumen und ihr wisst 's. Das sind für mich kleine Kunstwerke, farblich wunderschön Ton in Ton komponiert, sensibel ins (immer) rechte Licht gerückt. Oft fantastisch nah und doch mit eigenartig stolzer Zurückgenommenheit. Ihre Arbeiten zeigen Akribie, ohne dass dabei der Blick fürs Wesentliche verloren geht.
  Ich bin froh, dass sich Marthas flickr-Wege mit meinen gekreuzt haben. Gedanklich schenk' ich ihr viele bunte Blumen (vielleicht is' auch 'n Baum dabei oder 'n Acker oder 'n Wasserfall...), damit wir von ihr hiervon weiter erstaunlich schön ins Zweidimensionale Transformiertes sehen werden. Ich bleib' gespannt! Ciao Marthaaah. Und Danke!"
