I'm Jay... Well, actually, my name's Juan, i just like that nickname :)

I live in Montevideo, Uruguay, and it's been practically a year since i fell deeply in love with photography. Years had passed since i started looking for a creative outlet, which i couldn't find. Then one day, out of nowhere, photography came my way, and i never looked back.

Day 23/365 ~ "Two sides of myself"

I could describe myself as a person of passion. When i become passionate about something, there's nothing that can stop me from doing it. This is the case with photography, which i plan to make a big part of my life.

A New Dawn

I try to put everything behind my shots. I like to try and capture something with every exposure, a sight, a scent, a feeling... And if at least one person feels the thing i tried to transmit with my shot, i'll be a happy man.

One style i love and try to keep up with is minimalism. There's just something about simple and uncrowded composition that appeals to me, and makes it easier to transmit something through them.

The ying-yang of rock-and-roll
