I have had an interest in photography since my teenage years. There was one decisive moment - I was sitting on a trolley in Budapest and as I was looking out the window, I saw something I really wanted to capture. I can still visualize that "photo" in my mind...

I didn't get my first camera until I was 21, though. I had an opportunity to live in England for 3 months at that time, and the first thing I bought when I arrived was a point-and-shoot film camera.

I got a loaner Canon AE-1 to use for an introductory photo course when I first moved to the US. I loved that camera so much...I still might buy one, just to have it and shoot some film occasionally with it...It certainly made me a Canon fan.

My current gear includes a Canon 5D Mark II, a Canon Xsi and I have an Olympus SP570-UZ for the times I don't want to haul all my DSLR stuff around.

Baking and cooking is another hobby of mine, so you will see some food shots popping up on my photo stream. I normally post the recipe on my food blog, in case you want to prepare it yourself...

I also love to travel. I do a yearly trip back to Budapest to visit family and friends in Hungary. In addition, I like to do one other "big" trip somewhere abroad once a year, and a few long weekend type trips within the US.
