Born in Casablanca, Morocco in 1981, Raised in Israel, I have been taking photos since 1999.
I use many formats in my photography, mostly black & white film and the occasional burst of color. I develop and process everything in my darkroom and make my own prints (Indeed, with an enlarger).

My background in photography started with my father who had a photo lab back in the 70's and I grew up watching him develop photos in the darkroom at home. I originally studied Fine Art and Sculpture but the camera eventually replaced my paint brushes.

In 2009-2010 I had the honor of studying under Emmet Gowin in Princeton University being one of the 10 students in his last class ever before retiring. Emmet taught me print making and large format photography and a very beautiful life philosophy about photography. One of the most important things were that you don't have to go far to find an interesting subject, it is all around you in where you live, who you are with and most importantly your own family.

I hope to carry the tradition of darkroom print making as long as I can, to me it is what still makes photography a fine art in our digital world.
