YMCA Camp Silver Beach

It may look like just plain fun, but there's a lot more going on at Camp Silver Beach. With loads of activities packed on 151 beautiful acres of forest, field and wetlands, and 1,200 feet of pristine Chesapeake Bay beachfront, we provide opportunities for campers to build confidence, learn sportsmanship, find potential, grow friendships and develop a healthy independence from family. Lessons about respect and honesty come packaged in water adventures, woodland walks, and campfire sing-a-longs. We maintain a 4-to-1 camper-to-staff ratio with counselors who are highly trained, positive, and enthusiastic role models.

YMCA Camp Silver Beach, located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia is a YMCA of South Hampton Roads facility.

The YMCA of South Hampton Roads is a nonprofit, community-based health and human services organization that serves over 160,000 children and families each year. More than 14% of those families receive financial assistance through the Open Doors program, helping them achieve their full potential in spirit, mind and body. The YMCA’s doors are open to people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and incomes.
