"Being a former StealthVolunteer (and a forever one in my heart), this angel of a lady did soooo much for the animals and people after Katrina, continues to do so much and probably always will. When I was in LA, I was so close to meeting her face to face, but never got the chance... something I'll always regret.

    Keep on keeping on!!!

"I've had the pleasure to witness this great person at work. On the computer, on the phone, or in the field feeding homeless dogs and cats. I've never seen anyone so driven. She truly is a special person."

"LeAnne and Flickr, quietly making a HUGE difference for guardians and pets separated due to Hurricane Katrina. LeAnne along with Susan (Spiritsmom) recognized the need to centralize all the rescued pet photos from the 100's of shelters which received them. Guardians with no internet access, having to use Library computers just could not go through and find them all alone. Volunteers who are helping dozens of owners at a time can't keep going back to all the different sites or keep track of them for that matter!. With Flickr, and its ability to create sets and searchable tags, an overwhelmingly daunting task became doable. I had an owner who just got internet access two weeks ago, spend an entire day going through every single one of the 58,000 + photos on this site looking for her missing kitties. While she did not find her girls, it was healing for her to be able to search.

Now ten months out the goal is starting to shift a little, but this system has become even more valuable. On the ground volunteers now have a widely known place to send their photos of pets still roaming the streets, with the hopes that owners will see them. It is working. The Chalmette cat photos got 154 views the first day they were posted. Two owners were located and now traps are being set. This site brings hope, and comfort to those so deeply harmed by Katrina. It is a testament to how much people care.

LeAnne, mere thank yous, are not enough to express the deep gratitude felt by owners and volunteers alike for all you have sacrificed to make this website a reality."

"What can I say? yepitsme770 is, yep, it's "that amazing person." Don't know how she finds time to collect and post all these photos to help people and animals affected by Katrina, help feeders/volunteers on the ground of the Gulf Coast, do rescue and foster, and everything else. You are a superwoman!"

"The champion team of LeAnne and Flickr made a quantum change in the abilities of a hundreds of volunteers and owners to find and identify their missing pets lost in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. I learned about Flickr from LeAnne and Susan Spiritsmom, and I don't know how I lived without it! Thanks LeAnne, on behalf of all the pet-owning victims of Katrina. "I am writing this testimonial about LeAnne and her website, as it has been my privilege to have worked with her for the past ten months as a Stealth Volunteer.

She has worked tirelessly to design her awesome Flickr website! Many, many reunions have taken place that would have not been possible because of her efforts to post lost and found animals in a timely, professional manner. Because of her efforts, she has also helped to keep the feeding and watering program of New Orleans animals in the public eye by posting the animals still wandering the streets and some have even been reunited because of these postings.

While many others have given up helping to reunite owners and their pets, she continues to try to help keep the reunions going....and after all of this time, because of her efforts, they are!"

"Yepitsme770 in an incredible site. It is the most extensive photo site for the animals that were misplaced my the hurricanes on the Gulf Coast. This site has helped me and many others in trying to locate the lost pets. New photos are added continuously to the site. Even though there are thousands of pictures, this site make it easy to look through the photos by using categories and tags. Thanks for such a wonderful tool. Mollie"
