  I remember Karl when he was just another face in the crowd. I hadn’t known him that well, but I knew that all of a sudden he was there leaving me the nicest comments ever and asking how I focused my camera on my face (at least, that’s what I think I remember, haha). And then Karl messaged me saying we should talk more. So we started talking. And talking. And talking. And do you know what? I’m really, really glad for it.
  
  Karl is one of the nicest guys I will ever talk to. He knows how to make me smile when I would otherwise be frowning, and he knows how to brighten my morning. He’s been there for me when people have been getting at me and definitely knows the right time to say WTF. I’m learning to trust him, and that’s something that I haven’t been able to do with guys very well; I haven’t had a lot of guy friends before, so I certainly consider Karl one of the first. But I could probably talk to Karl about anything and he wouldn’t care; he’s just that nice. :)
  
  Plus, no matter what he says, Karl is really, REALLY creative. Every photo of his is just so different and they all WOW me, to the point that I practically want to fave his whole entire photostream. His photos have a certain quality that makes him memorable, and not all photographers possess that quality. I can see a photo b y Karl and say that it’s HIS before I even see a name by it, and I can’t do that for many people.
  
  Karl is just truly amazing, as a person and as a photographer, and I feel very lucky to have gotten to know him. If I wasn’t so bad with words, this testimonial would probably go on and on about just how great Karl is, but I’m running out of things to say, so I think I’ll stop. :)
  
  But one more thing, one of these days, me and Karl are going to meet, and that will be one of the best days ever. :)"

In the essence of his photos, you can see past the image, past what he wishes us to see, and into the passion that he has for this art. It is my belief that photography is his most fluent medium, though I've not seen his attempts at any others. He has so creative an eye for photography that one simply can't match, no matter how hard try we to measure. There is truly something deeper than the lens in Karl's pictures, and when even merely glancing upon his stream, this is made most evident.
