I started photography in an early age. I used my father’s Petri for a while, and then bought a Kodak Instamatic. I did a lot of B&W darkroom work in 1970s. I bought a Zenith E as my first SLR; after using it a few years I got a Minolta SRT 303 which gave me tremendous clarity and sharpness in my B&W prints. In 1980s B&W work was not possible due to my work activities and I bought a Nikon FE to do some Kodachrome slides. I liked the Nikon system and obtained an old Nikon F. I never bought an autofocus SLR during 1990s. In 2002 I bought my first digital a Canon A40 - a 2 Mpix camera which fascinated me. During the first years of 2000s I completely scanned all my 10 thousand slides and negatives using a Minolta Dimage scanner which gave me a nearly 10-Mpix image. In 2005 I bought a Canon A620 7-Mpix camera that is still in use. In 2007 I got a Nikon D80 which I can mount my old manual lens without metering. Currently I have Nikon FE, F, D80 bodies and 20/3.5 AIS, 28 3.5 PreAI, 35/2 PreAI, 50/1.4 AI, 50/2 AI, 35-105 3.5 AIS, 55 3.5 PreAI Micro Nikkor, 135 3.5 Pre-AI, 135 3.5 AIS, 80-200 4.5 AI, 400 6.3 Non-Nikkor and 18-135 Kit lens. I planned to buy a 70-300 VR Nikkor and the new incarnation of D300 or a consumer grade full frame Nikon Camera in the future.

My present location is in Fort Myers area, South West Florida.
