Hi, i am travelling around Europe in my sailboat taking pictures of my trip and the places I am visiting.

I have owned cameras of various description for almost 30 years. My first SLR was a Zenith TTL and I used to shoot slide film and develop it in the kitchen sink.
Those were the good old days where every shot counted because of the cost.

My current camera equipment is:-

Canon 300D
Canon 5D
Lenses:-
canon 18-55mm EFS
canon 55-200mm USM
canon 24-105mm IS USM
Sigma 170-500mm DG
Flash:-
Canon EX 550EX Speedlite Flash
Nikon coolpix 7600 (just right for the pocket)

I now have a shiny new Soligor PT180 Tripod.

But will still be using a monopod made from a fishing rod, a cork and a bolt. Yes I can hear you all laughing but it works down to 1/3 of a second. Update 08/2008 you can all stop laughing now I have finally bought a Tripod

I live full time 24/7 on my boat so you will notice that water plays a big part in my life & my photos, because the Oceans and rivers are my tracks and highways as I travel from place to place and the view from afloat couldn't be more different than when ashore.

I connect to Flickr using hotspot wifi technology so my connection can be great, appalling or non existing. Depending where I am Anchored. So please be patient with me it is not always possible to visit everyone. But as a contact of mine says comment and Fave my photos and you will move straight to the top of the list.
