A Serendipitous is a film production company based in the UK and Ghana specialising in making content for theatrical release, TV, business and community projects.
We have an educational arm ‘Closing the Gap’ .www.closing-thegap.com which takes positive films about Africa into UK schools.

We have made films for the award winning ‘Breaking the Chains’ exhibition at the British Empire & Commonwealth Museum in Bristol, Aljazeera TV, community films for Camden and Brent councils and run filmmaking workshops for young people. In 2008 ‘Keep Her’ their 10 minute drama won the Images of Black women new comer award.

In 2009 we released ‘Queen Yaa Asantewaa & the Golden Stool’ documentary online and in Ghana. Currently we are in preproduction for ‘Anokye’s Sword’ (the Komfo Anokye Story) a 2D animation action adventure that they are using crowd funding techniques to finance.
