I love my country - I fear my government!

I have always been a hobby photographer. I started taking photos as a teen using my father's 35mm SLR. It was nothing real special but it took pretty good picuters nonetheless. When I was 19 I bought a Minolta X-700 35mm myself and had (and used) that camera for over 20 years. Now I have moved on to digital photography - first a Konica-Minolta Z6 DiMage and now a Nikon D300.

Many of my photos are of subjects which are other hobbies of mine - cars and motorcycles are near the top of that list.

I will leave many a comment on other peoples' photographs, but mark way fewer as a "Favorite". That is because out of my own personal principals I will not mark a photo as a favorite if I cannot view it in "All Sizes". All of my pictures are available in full resolution. My reason for doing that is simple - Flickr is a photography SHARING website for people who love pictures. Thumbnails just don't cut it for me...
