I'm a high school student that is interested in photography. I hope to get myself a nice camera (like a Nikon D40 or something along those lines) and take some photography classes in college.. Right now I don't own a camera that works...

I love animals but I especially like the Canine branch (dogs, wolves, foxes, etc). I'm hoping to become a vet and I hope to start volunteering at an animal shelter in the summers to come.

(If you have any suggestions or information about starting out with DSLR cameras, it'd be greatly appreciated!!!)
