I've been wielding a camera ever since I was given a Kodak Disc way back in the day -- I'd set up my Lego guys and take their portraits. In high school the camera by my side was my beloved Minolta XG-1, a completely manual SLR that saw me through several years of HS photo classes and lots of photo explorations in the little town of Chatham, Cape Cod, where I did most of my growing up. My first real job was at a little photo lab called PhotoWorks, right on lovely Main Street Chatham. Working there helped my photography to grow and evolve...and while employed there I also learned the finer points of color theory and film developing and processing. While in college I bought my next camera, a Canon Rebel G. I bought it for the convenience and also the quality. I loved that camera and still do--after just one repair and more than 10 years I still have it and it still works. In the first year of the new millenium I left my job at the photo lab--business was down and the digital age was upon us. My cameras grew dusty on their shelves as I refused to let anyone other than me develop the film.

Enter 2007 and the purchase of my Canon 30D -- my new beloved camera and partner in crime. I absolutely love taking photos, whether they be fun portraits, interesting landscapes, generic old flower shots, or cool architecture.

When I'm not taking photos, I'm working with audio...I've been a radio geek for almost as long as I've been a photo geek..from playing with blank tapes to broadcasting the morning news, I've done it all. Currently I work for a great voiceover company just out of Boston, doing everything from editing to voicing to helping out with the computer system.

If you live in the Greater Boston area and like what you see, don't hesitate to get in touch -- I'm trying to build my portfolio and I'd be more than happy to photograph you for free.
