I have two moods: happy and cranky. Mostly I'm happy. Besides hanging out with my beautiful and brilliant wife, my 9 year old daughter and my weeks-old son, taking pictures is my favourite thing. These things always make me happy.
I live and work in public relations in Beijing and I travel mostly to Hong Kong and occasionally to other parts of the region, such as Shanghai, Tokyo, Seoul and Ulaanbaatar. I'm currently reading The Economist, Hey Whipple, Squeeze This by Luke Sullivan,The Prince by Niccola Machiavelli translated by Rufus Goodwin, The Moment it Clicks by Joe McNally, Boing Boing and your email, and listening to public broadcasting podcasts, with a side-order of Gilbert and Sullivan.
I shoot with a Nikon D80, a normal prime, a super-wide and a versatile zoom. I carry a Panasonic FX38 in my bag for when the SLR is not around.
I help administer several Flickr pools, including The Bars and Cafes of China, Images of Communism and Beard Papa's Cream Puffs.
I was really proud to get a photo into the 24 Hours of Flickr book.
