I was studying at the Photography Studies College, Melbourne for a while. Now I'm doing a Masters Degree in Design Anthropology. I work as a graphics and web designer. My favourite photographic genre is photojournalism, specifically field work in war zones or other trouble spots. I respect photography that can be a catalyst for change for the better. My second favourite photographic style is landscape, especially abstractions and experiments. I also like some illustrative genres within photography, especially the more painterly styles heavy with chiaroscuro and the darker tones. Lately, my favourite photographers are Ed Burtynsky, Andreas Gursky, David Maisel, Loretta Lux, Olev Duryagin, Nadav Kander and Emmet Gowin, as well as my old favourites Salgado and James Nachtwhey.

Please note: While I appreciate and encourage commenting on my photos - I really dislike those bright or large graphic accompaniments to comments, especially the animated ones. Please do comment, but in plain text.
