I'm a 24-year-old photographer who's been taking pictures for the last five years -- that is to say taking pictures I've actually liked the last five years, since I think I was born with the camera in my hand. I work in digital, and love the sense of control it gives.

I started in fashion and costuming photography, working to not only portray the beauty of the clothing on display, but also of the model -- and to combine that with a sense of storytelling, so that each picture contained an emotion or idea.

I specialize in portraits -- I love working with human body, with faces and expressions and eyes. For me there is nothing more compelling than telling a story through human experience, through a human being. I love interacting with people and watching their faces as they see how I can portray them -- how they can look just like themselves on the camera: or like someone completely different, something completely different.

Costuming will always be a big part of my life, and so will photographing costumers. I attend conventions because I love to help showcase all the hard work that goes into these outfits, and because I honestly love interacting with costumers.

I am a part of that social network thing, or it least I make the attempt. I suffer from tendonitis which means I can't always type on my computer. I use a speech to text program to help out the bad days, but it does mean occasionally I have very strange grammar or sentence structure.
