The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) is a safe space on campus where students can learn more about many of the issues effecting women today including relationships, parenting, sexual assault, and relationship violence.
Students can stop by to check out resources or just come in and hang out. Available resources at the WRC:
-Resource library which includes books and videos.
-Computers with links to resources on relationships, sexual assault and other women’s issues.
-Brochures and pamphlets
-Support groups (offerings vary by semester)
-Book club and discussion group
-Informative and educational presentations
The C.U.R.E. (Campus United for Respect and Education) is peer education group sponsored by the Women’s Resource Center and Counseling Services. The C.U.R.E ‘s goals include educating UTSA students about healthy relationships, sexual violence prevention and mental health. C.U.R.E members educate students by presenting to classes and other student groups, by staffing outreach tables and by planning and coordinating outreach events.
