wounded-bull (Steve)'s photostream  

Well my first camera was a Kodak Instamatic when I was about 14 and probably given to me as a birthday or christmas gift from my parents and although the camera is long gone I still have some of the photos I took with it.
I think what really cemented my interest in Photography was the couple of years that i did photography in high school .. which of course introduced me to better cameras like the good old Pentax K1000 and the Darkroom.

In these earlier days I was a member of the WA camera club entering some of my work in local and National competitions with varying results, for the last 20 or so years it has mainly been a enjoyable creative release for me and I think it always will be.

People always go on about what camera they use and how much it cost and how big the lens is.. well some one told me once many years ago "look Steve there are no bad cameras just bad photographers" and now with what I see my Daughter www.flickr.com/photos/carlaadams/ doing with some of the weird cameras she has and some of the brilliant work I see from phone cameras I thing more than ever that this is true....
