Women Do Business is an exciting and innovative new programme designed to support both new and existing women-owned businesses, by providing a package of locally-delivered, women-friendly training and support.
Currently funded by the South Devon Coastal and Greater Dartmoor Local Action Groups, The Women Do Business Programme is run by the Community Council of Devon. CCD have already won the prestigious Prowess Flagship Award for their work in supporting women’s enterprise across Devon. The Government recently announced plans to establish a series of Women’s Business Centres in the UK and The Women Do Business programme sees the introduction of the first Women’s Business Centres to the South West. The Centres will also be the first of their kind in the UK designed specifically to support rural business women
