Hi!

My name is Porter. I'm a undergrad student of Molecular Biology and work as researcher, which has sucked my life away from photography for about two years. Before then, I worked as a photojournalist for my school paper and did some freelance sports photography for the local newspaper. Snatched a few state and national awards during that period as well.

Only recently have I had the chance to get back into photography, catalyzed as it was by the chance to go spend sometime working on the west coast. Landscapes and macro photography are my favorite areas, though I've really only had the chance to work on the latter. I never turn down a chance to shoot flowers. Though they are probably one of the most overshot images around, there is always a way to make it unique.

As far as landscape work goes, I am fairly poorly equipped in experience. Hopefully I will prove to be a fast learner and start throwing up some successful shots soon. So if I seem to randomly add you as a contact, its probably cause I think you're work is amazing and will be studying it to try and glean some tips.
