Thanks to digital cameras, I've rekindled my old love affair with photography. Back in the 70s, 110 and 126 Kodak Instamatics, and an old family Ricoh 35mm range finder, got me started. I graduated to a Minolta Maxxum 5000 system in the 80s. But the cost of climbing the learning curve and experimenting with film and process chemicals, turned me off, and my attention wandered off to other creative hobbies.
It all changed when I joined a digital imaging processor development firm, and was presented with a complimentary HP 2.1 Mp camera. Although it was a horrible camera by today's measure, it made picture taking fun again. Since then, I've been an avid Canon user.
Photography is my favorite art form. And I hope to grow from snapshots to composing memorable and artistic photos.
This will be my lifetime endeavor.
