Hi, and thanks for your visit.

My name is Wolfgang Lonien, and I'm from Germany.

I work in IT in one of the world's largest computer companies, and photography is only a hobby of mine - started when I was young with a Canon A-1 SLR and 28mm, 50mm, and 135mm prime lenses. During that time, I used Kodachrome and Ektachrome colour slide and Ilford B&W films, and developed and enlarged the latter myself.

Rediscovered photography as a hobby in late 2009 after a break of almost 30 years, when I bought a digital Olympus E-520 SLR, which I still use today, together with a recently purchased E-PL1 "Pen" camera.

Many of my photos here are for my blog, and probably not very interesting. I also did some model shootings, but prefer portraiture - people are just so interesting :-) To see my most popular, or "interesting" stuff, please go to the popular tab of my photostream.

All photos here are copyleft after the Creative Commons, so feel free to take, alter and use whatever you like, as long as you mention me as the photographer.
