J.Lester creates her work from a very personal place, often based on her own dreams and internal experiences.
She has been called the 'painter of Dreams', and looking at her work it is easy to see why.
Internationally collected, known and loved for her mysterious symbolic and haunting images, very often Goddess themed.
As the artist matures, her work has shifted more towards nature, is more expressive and fluid, less towards the illustrative images many know her for. Yet her style is unmistakable, and instantly recognizable.Fresh and modern, yet timeless and classic.

The artist's work ranges from semi-abstract symbolic visionary art to highly detailed representations of Goddess archetypes.
