As it has been for countless others, photography became a virtual savior. Although I attempted it for several years and held workplace positions which involved photography, I wasn't deeply immersed or understanding of it.
In July 2003, I was off for a three-week stay in Italy which included two at the Toscana Photographic Workshops. There, the veil was peeled back. I was in the dark, and now I'm beginning to see.
