I've been keen on photography for at least ten years, but only really stepped up my interest in the past four or five, inspired by the nature and scenery around me, the almost daily changes I see in my two children, Andrew (9) and Alba (5) and the 'live learning experience' that is a digital SLR.

Flickr has been a huge inspiration... A wonderful way to share your art with like-minded others. I'm currently working on improving landscape technique - big passion - and I'm a growing fan of urban nightscapes - partly for artistic motives and partly practical... Whether I'm home or away working, it's often the easiest time for me to get out there!
