Just an ordinary guy that seems to be in a semi consistent state of constant transition. Living, jobs, interest. The only constant is Deb. I try to spend as much time in less populated areas of the Country, but tend to get drawn into the cities for work purposes and schooling.

My D50:
At 22 I was diagnosed with an eye problem. They had a name but no cause or cure, it would just go away or never leave (Kind of like a short term house guest). At 29 an associated degenerative eye problem caused some blind spots and many months of soul searching. A very good doctor and some expensive treatments later it was stabilized.

The week I found out I did not need an eye treatment I spent the money on a camera, which actually was cheaper. That is how my first decent camera (D50) came to me. I wanted a zoom lens so I could take pictures of birds and other outdoor things. I was not disappointed and am still amazed at what I can shoot. I am still definitely in the amateur realm, but I am taking lots of pictures and am getting better.
