Will S.'s photostream  

My interests are varied, so this photo-blog is, too, in terms of content. Some of it may interest you, some of it may not. Oh well! My stream here consists overwhelmingly of photographs I've taken, but it also has some scans from old books, and magazines, and the like, just for fun.

I don't join groups requiring me to comment on others' pics; nor do I join silly groups where all the members post graphics with thumbs-ups or sparkles and saying things like "GREATEST PHOTO EVER!" (Gimme a break!) And I think it's absurd that Flickr makes us show others' pics (favourites) on our own profile pages. Why? It's not like we can't click on people's favourites and see them there; why duplicate that on the profile page? That's ridiculous. (Like pretty much everything else Flickr has ever done without consulting its PAYING members BEFOREHAND. Typical...) Oh, and it's also absurd only a portion of one's public groups are visible, rather than all... Think, Flickr, think!

Rules for guests: say pretty much whatever you want here, BUT don't be deliberately rude or insulting, AND don't use the name of the Lord in vain, or be sacrilegious or blasphemous with regard to The Faith, or poke fun at the Lord or His mother, AND please avoid dropping F-bombs. OR ELSE.

Oh, and apologists for communism / communist regimes, or axe-grinding nationalist Irish sectarianism: you're not welcome here; go away; you'll be deleted and blocked in a heartbeat if you come here to argue or complain. Ditto anyone who takes issue with my policy here. Or any other annoying argumentative axe-grinding one-note ideologues (as distinguished from cheerful, good-natured argumentative types, like myself and a number of my contacts). Or people who complain about the pollution of smoke bombs from parachute teams. My house, my rules.

And one more thing: don't be boring and/or repetitive; the same joke, or kind of joke (about the same subject matter), over and over, will not be tolerated; your comments will be deleted. Be forewarned.

If I'm blocking you, don't bother protesting or putting on a sockpuppet and coming here to argue my decision; you'll be blocked again, and Flickr admins will be informed that you're harassing me. Just go away - and don't let the door hit your behind on the way out.
