The addition of advanced digital camera technology in mobile phones has brought about new aesthetic criteria to the world of photography. Owing to the fact that cameras are available to us at all times, the subject matter of mobile phone photography is impulsive and often driven by the unconscious. Owing to the size of these photographic devices, perspectives are fluid and there is a propensity toward the framing of shapes and textures rather than human subjects and open landscapes.
