Took early retirement a few years ago which has enabled me to devote more time to my 30 years of birdwatching. Recently got back into photography after the advent of digital, spent a few years with video which did not mix with birding so went back to stills. Like to travel, looking at birds all over the world. I use a Canon 7 d and 50d plus 400mm 5.6, 100-400mm, and 70-300L lenses at the moment and take mainly bird pictures but must try other subjects. Want to travel around the UK more with my camera in search of birds, ticked off Bempton and Gigrin Farm so far. Any suggestions of other similar sites would be gratefully received.
