For the last three years I've been trying to become a local recognized photographer. However, in 2011 my priorities changed. I became a Grandmother and I started on the journey of a lifetime, I started Weight Watchers. As of writing this on Dec 27 2011, I've lost 94 pounds(see below or to the right) and I have 146 to go. Due to that and some other turn of events that are out of my control, I've decided to change my priorities. I still enjoy taking pictures but I am now blogging about my weight loss journey and I think that's more important right now. I still plan on taking pictures and posting them here, but I am no longer pushing to become a recognized photographer. I will still update here and I will still keep my Facebook feed (see below) and Twitter feed (see below). Just not doing any extra photography, like portraits. I am also not doing shows any more and I am no longer a member of Troy Photo Center.

I've been taking pictures most of my life and I do it for fun.
I love to take Black and White and I've been told some of my best work is black and white and/or architecture.

My credentials include:

Did studio pregnancy shots for two different couples
Did a location shoot with a family
Three photos in Hudson 400 show at Troy Photo Center 2009
Five photos in the Best of 2009 show at Troy Photo Center Center 2010
Three of my photos were seen at the Philmont Library in the "Made in Columbia County" show 2010
Four of my photos were seen in The Annual Members show at Troy Photo Center
Four of my photos were in the best of 2011 at Troy Photo Center

I originally am from Beekmantown, a small town north of Plattsburgh NY and only 13 minutes south of the Canadian (Quebec) border. I now live in the Capital Region of New York state with my amazing husband. I have two brilliant stepchildren and one wonderful stepson-in-law and a gorgeous Granddaughter. My parents both still live in the Plattsburgh area, I'm an only child. I joined Weight Watchers in May 2011. You can view my blog on my journey here
