Welcome to the world of We Kill You. Before you ask, we'll tell you. We Kill You does not represent violence, anger, or hate. Rather, it's about everything its creator stands for: fun, happiness, creativity. We Kill You's gang of characters—the Ghost, the Bat, the Bear, the Sasquatch, the Ape, and the Bunny—represent its prevailing attitude: we kill you with laughter.

Since its genesis in Toronto in the early 2000s, the We Kill You art project, one that started simply as an outlet for creation, has blossomed into an internationally regarded "art thing," with solo shows, toys, t-shirts, album designs, skateboards, and more. We Kill You has seen its pieces travel to San Francisco, Tokyo, and New York for solo and collective display and art shows.

Early on, We Kill You began taking discarded pieces of furniture and sundry household items, and transforming them into works of art. By painting and re-designing chairs, tables, microwaves, and fridge doors, We Kill You breathed new life into street junk, and placed the pieces right back where they were found. Soon, Torontonian urbanites began recognizing We Kill You pieces on their downtown streets, and the project quickly moved from urban legend to urban legacy.

In the repurposing of old furniture for street art, as well as in the other media formed, We Kill You's theme remains the same: make the best of everything, and don't ever forget that art is there to make you smile.
