A nearly 100-year old community theatre in Uptown, Grand Rapids - Wealthy Theatre is owned and operated by Community Media Center. This 400-seat venue has become one of the most technologically capable historic theatres in the nation, with excellent concert sound, four-camera video recording, HD projection and much more. There is also a 60-seat Micro-Cinema and multipurpose dance studio, plus community meeting room. Members of Community Media Center ($36/year) have bar privileges at Wealthy Theatre, and get discounts on many events.
