I grew up in NJ, then went to college in Boston (Wellesley), where I studied Media Arts & Sciences- film photography, digital image manipulation, interactive cinema, computer architcture, and a bunch of other semi-related things. It left me with a love of medium format film prints and a job doing nothing much related to my major.

After college I spent 7 years in Seattle working at amazon mostly in p13n (personalization for people who aren't lazy (; ). I moved back to NJ to be near my nieces and nephew a few years ago. After a short stint at Google and then Meetup, now I work for amazon in Newark.

My significant other is a US Coast Guard captain of one of the cutters in the NY Harbor, so you'll occasionally see USCG photos floating around among the sewing and kids and dotcom life pictures.

I've written about my photography over here, but here's a little more: I love 35mm black and white, mostly I shoot my nieces and trips that I take.

I spend my free time sewing or sailing or traveling.
