Hi, my name is David Williams. Before we go any further, I am asking that you please DO NOT steal my images; they are my copyrighted property. If you would like to use any of my images, just send me an email requesting permission, and I will most likely say YES!

Now for a little bit about myself. I am 39 years old, and am a happily married father of two beautiful daughters.

For my day job, I work with children with multi-handicaps for Kings Local School. I absolutely LOVE my job.

I also have my own photo business called Waxing Gibbous Photography. I do weddings, senior and family portraits, and special occasion photography, as well as selling my fine art prints.

I have been blessed to be published many times over the past several years. I had an image in the Blue Ash calendar, a couple of images in a magazine for art educators and I had an image of the Cincinnati skyline selected for the cover of the 100th anniversary edition of the Cincinnati Bell Yellow Pages.

I also won 2nd place in the professional category of the Light Up Cincinnati photo contest a few years ago.

I have been published in the 2007, 2008 and 2009 editions of Capture Cincinnati. For the 2007 edition, I had four images in the book, and won "Consensus Best" for the People of Porkopolis" chapter. In 2008, I won 1st place in the "Sports and Recreation" chapter, and in 2009 had several images published in the book, as well as winning the Grand Prize.

I have also most recently had about 12 of my images published in a book called: "Don't Tread on US, SIgns of a 21st Century Revival." That book was edited my Mark Karis and forwarded by Chuck Norris.

I am most certainly not deserving of those many honors and privileges, but am thankful for God's blessings on me just the same!

Thank you, and God bless!

David

"I can't say much about the technical aspect of waxinggibbous's photos... don't know enough to comment on that. But I know he captures mood, feeling, heart, and beauty. His work helped me learn to see beauty in places where once I never even bothered to look. It puts a smile on my face. Every time."

"These are some of the best photos of average people I've seen. They show the interesting side of all of us. I hope he goes on another walk around town soon."

    Daniela Miernik says:

"I don't want anybody to think that I've posted this testimonial only because David had written one for me.

Take a look at his photostream and discover a great spectrum of apporaches he's got: from subtle and delicate photostory from Amish's village to harsh, masculine and industrial railway theme.

He improvises and makes experiments, tests new shades and new colours. He looks for shots in places, where probably not too many people are hoping to get anything out of. He gets the most of them.

Good luck, David! Thanks for all!"

"Wow is the word that always first enters my mind when I see this photography. He has also inspired me to keep taking shots even if I think I'm not that great. Keep it up!!!"
