Hey lovely peeps, my name is Aja (pronounced Asia.) I live in New York, I love to write and sing, and consider myself to be quite a creative being.

With this Flickr account, I've decided to further explore my creativity by finally tackling my dream hobby: photography.

Currently, I have a point and shoot camera (a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W220.) It's by no means a fancy camera, but I'm learning a lot from it.

I take a lot of self-portraits, not because I'm conceited, but because it's always been fairly easy for me to capture myself. I hope to start exploring with shooting other subjects and objects as well.
