Originally from New Brunswick, I moved to Prince Edward Island in the mid-70s to raise a family in rural Kings County. My life on PEI began with a career as a building contractor – turning concepts and plans into real-life structures. I have now taken that talent to the canvas, where I now enjoy using acrylics and oils to capture the beauty of real life scenes of rural PEI.

I am a self-taught artist, now with over 100 works completed. From the ever-changing cliffs and beaches of the north shore, to the activities of the people and wildlife of eastern PEI, my passion is in capturing “memories” – preserving moments in time on canvas that can be enjoyed for a lifetime.

The unique and captivating effects that nature’s light provides are characteristic of my pieces.
