Would like to first take this opportunity to thank all of those who have supported me along the way and I really appreciate your friendship and comments.

Love the outdoors, canoeing and photography. Trying to photograph aircraft and automobiles first peaked my interest in photography, but I never had the equipment to take good photos of aircraft until February of 2010. I canoed for years before I started taking my camera with me and began taking the occasional photo of a bird or alligator. It wasn't until 2009 that I started stalking the animals and trying to get better shots that I really started concentrating on the wildlife aspect of photography. Hopefully I'll learn more about approaching the animals on the bayou. I also enjoy Hawaii which offers endless opportunities to take great shots. My favorite place is Haleakala on Maui. Hopefully I'll have good weather when I return there.

Some people probably see that around 80% of my photos are from Armand and Horsepen bayous and I will admit that it is a dynamic place that offers endless opportunities to photograph wildlife. There is always something to take a photo of when I go canoeing.

I'm terrible at putting an I.D. on birds, but I really enjoy Ospreys and Green-backed Herons. Of the two, I'd have to say that I love the colors of the greenies. A lot of them are pretty cooperative when it comes to posing so I just need to do a better job of taking the shot. They are all a challenge.

and can't wait for the new A700 replacement...The A77 is on order and am waiting for a new shipment to come in.
