I am a bit of a gypsy and have spent the greater part of my adult life wandering the highways and byways of Australia in search of the real me. This in turn has led to a wide variety of work and the meeting of people from all walks of life. I guess I am something of a people junkie.

I have spent a considerable amount of time in other countries as well including New Zealand, England, Scotland and Germany.

My first love will always remain Australia.

I studied various artistic pusuits at a College of Advanced Education whilst doing part of a Fine Arts degree and I also worked in photo developing labs both private and with the local newspaper.

I currently run a Nikon F50 with a variety of lenses for some of my shots and I occasionally get the use of my partners Leica M4. My all time favourite for sheer depth of field and clarity in most lighting circumstances is an Olympus Trip 35 circa 1970. It is an unbelievable little camera and good condition examples are available at flea markets and through Ebay for as little as 10 euros. Buy one, you will never look back.

My favourite film is Fuji Superior 4th Colour Layer 200

Thanks also to all the Flickrites out there who have given me encouragement with their comments and to those that have offered me their contact.

You can also visit my hobby site if you are interested in items of Australiana :)

" Waltzing Broonhilda's photostream is filled with family, friends, art, architecture and things that intrest him at the moment. He has a good eye for capturing snaps, but at the same time making them interesting for the rest of us look at. I have enjoyed his photostream very much, and appreciate him sharing his travel and fun with us all."
