  Dany has completely different parents from me but I'm very happy to call her my sister because we've found out that our birthday is exactly at the same day the same year. Although grew up each of us in another part of the formerly divided Germany our souls followed the same path.
  
  The first time we met us on fotolog.net. With great joy I read the stories of the 'Waldgeister', two Basenjies, the wild boys of the 'Güsterfields' (continued here on flickr :).
  For me, a man from the mountains and the woods it was astonishing how one can tell so many interesting, humorous and entertaining stories about the open spaces (with the inclined horizon ;-)

  Dany hat völlig andere Eltern als ich, trotzdem bin ich sehr glücklich, sie meine Schwester nennen zu dürfen, weil wir herausgefunden haben, das wie am gleichen Tag im gleichen Jahr Geburtstag haben. Obwohl wir jeder in einem anderen Teil des ehemals gepaltenen Deutschlands aufgewachsen sind, folgten unsere Seelen dem gleichen Pfad.
  
  Das erste Mal sind wir uns bei fotolog.net begegnet. Mit großer Freude las ich die Geschichten der 'Waldgeister', zwei Basenjis, den wilden Jungs vom Güsteracker (die hier bei flickr ihre Fortsetzung finden :).
  für mich, einem Mann aus den Bergen und der Wälder war es erstaunlich, wie man so viele interessante, humorvolle und unterhaltsame Geschichten über das 'flache Land' (mit dem geneigten Horizont ;-) erzählen kann.
  Danys Bilder und Geschichten sind voller Liebe und Verständnis für unsere vierbeinigen Freunde. Danke Dany!"

  "Dany is most creative and warm, fresh and unusual, and ready for just about anything new. In her heart she still carries the Spirit of 1968. A better world. Music and dance. Freedom and righteousness.
  Dany and her husband sure love their dogs Bosse and Pelle. This makes B&P the luckiest dogs in Germany. No wonder their faces look so human.
  Dany makes sure all the details of their life in Güsterlands are well documented. Both in her dog photos and in her 'Sound of Silence' landscape captures. I believe some of her photos are among the best on Flickr.
