Cindy enjoys capturing the unique personality and spirit of pets and their people in her photographs. Cindy took an early retirement from the City of Hampton, Virginia, where she headed up the city’s Animal Control Division. Certified by the National Animal Control Division, she has owned pets all her life and has rescued dogs & cats finding them “forever” homes. Before starting Wags ‘n’ Whiskers in Ohatchee, AL, she founded Rainbow City’s “Planet Doggiewood” boarding and dog daycare facility in 2007, which is now owned by her brother David Ancel. Wags ‘n’ Whiskers features gentle grooming, pet portraits, and pooper scooper service.
