彰化海岸是全台灣獨一無二、面積最大的泥質潮間灘地，隨著大量的開發和破壞，彰化海岸一點一點流失了她的生態核心，我們不能眼看著這樣的情形繼續惡化下去。
保育需要科學研究為後盾，更需要付諸實際的行動，而不是只有一篇篇的論文、報告而已。所以我們從研究海岸水鳥生態為基礎，以生物為海岸生態的指標，進行彰化海岸保育的行動。
人類也是生態環境的一部份，我們尊重人類在海岸生存的權力，但人類的利益不能凌駕海岸整體的利益，這需要彼此相容才能共存。
同時我也希望這個網站成為彰化海岸的入口網站，只要在彰化海岸的大小事情和生態相關之議題，都可以在這個網站上得到相關的訊息。
生態照片並不應該只有影像而已，而應該藉由感動激發我們對保育自然的行動力量。
Ecological photos are not oniy images themselves, but also touch and encourage us to make conservative actions.
