Waag Society is a medialab in Amsterdam since 1996, housed in both an ancient and modern monument.

Waag Society does research, development, pilot projects and makes prototypes, using creative technology for social and cultural innovation. Waag Society is co-initiator of PICNIC, the yearly crossmedia week in Amsterdam.
