I've had many questions about my not placing high-resolution copies of my photographs here on Flickr. While most of the photos I post are of no great commercial value, I have had several high-res photos stolen. So, to keep this from happening, I no longer post high-res copies of anything on the net. Sorry.

Also, due to a recent bad experience with 7x7 Magazine, I no longer donate use of photos for commercial work for free. Read this: www.flickr.com/photos/w9jim/1183365445/in/photostream/

"I've known Jim since 1981 and to tell you everything about him would take way too much time. I'll wait for the movie!

In short, he has proven to be the sort of person you can count on in any situation.

Over the years we've shot pretty close to the same number of photos but since a fire destroyed 1,000's of his slides back in the mid 80's I think I'm ahead (ok, maybe not)!

He is a great example and inspiration and it shows -almost- every day!

    Later Bro"

"Jim is one of those guys whose photostream I instantly go to whenever I log on to Flickr. His pictures always inspire, amaze and bring a smile to my face.
Not only does he take great photos but they always hold a fascination for me and make me want to find out more about the subjects. He also does this with wonderul humour too!

Keep up the great work mate!"

    Distant Eye says:

"Jim's photos capture some extraordinary moments and places. He not only shares these visuals with humor, but opens a window on himself where even the most casual viewer can sense that there is more to him than just photos. Jim leads a life of service and care by putting his faith into action. He leads by the example of The Carpenter.

Even though we have yet to shake hands, I consider him a friend and and a Brother. Thank you Jim and God Bless you."
