Introduction

My name's Vincent Tilman and I live in Groningen, a city in the Northern part of the Netherlands.

Unfortunately I'm not someone who's been to Antartica where it's -50 celcius, neither have I fought pirates in faraway countries. I'm not someone who's been in the Jungle, nor have I been eye to eye with a crocodile. But I have been on a trip to Vietnam in 2008, which was the moment for me when I started to like Photography.

During my trip I've made still-life and moving pictures of myself and other people around me, and thereby I developed an eye for creativity. My goal in life is to be creative, and this also goes for the pictures I make.

On a desert island I would go mad with my camera, but also without music, and English books. I think I would start talking to my camera, to keep it a but fun. Creative innovation makes my heart go boom-boom, and that's why I'm always looking for the perfect picture. Every time I make a picture is a new chance to improve myself.

If I was able to shoot some pictures on this desert island, I would find it really annoying not being able to share these pictures online with people with an opinion. I love sharing pictures online, because I love feedback. My inspiration comes from other people who share their pictures online, but also from magazines, or other things that make live so beautiful.

From time to time I get positive feedback about my pictures, and this is something that has always inspired me to continue. I believe in teamwork, communication and collaboration like "friends" with the person I take a picture of. That's what makes a perfect shoot if you ask me.

So I'd say; Let's be friends, and make a whole lot of fun around here!

As for editing photos I use my MacBook Pro 13". I can honestly say that my MBP made life so much easier, especially for editing and storing pictures.
