Visakha SPCA, on the east coast of India in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh is a home for dogs, cats, turtles, monkeys, cows, buffaloes, birds, horses, and other animals. The number of animals that we rescue and treat is increasing every year. Our shelter is an eco-friendly environment as we have many plants for wildlife protection; we use and make biogas (energy from cow dung) and vermicompost. We also do community outreach for humane education, sea turtle protection and perform animal birth control (spay/neuter) and rabies vaccination to help dogs and cats.
