Voted for Ross Perot back in '92. Just think where we'd be now if he had been allowed to shake that voodoo stick. Dammit, I thought for certain that he was going to win.

Passionate lama compelled to follow the Cowboy Junkies hither and yonder on all their tours. Would die compete to see them and Keb Mo on the same ticket.

Currently:
- reading nothing aside from topo maps to myself and bedtime books to my beautiful daughter.
- always podcasting This I Believe.
- developing a liking for John Coltrane.
- having an affair with a Nikon DSLR.

What I do for a living is enjoy time with my wonderful family. In addition to that, kayaking, hiking, and anything outdoor related is top priority.

What I do to justify my living is work as an automotive engineer at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan in the Large Gas & Diesel Engine Engineering department. Love working for Ford, it's a family tradition as I am a fourth generation employee (great grandfather worked for Henry himself, in fact).

My photos on Flickr are an attempt to grow my photo taking ability in addition to trying to enhance my creative side in general. Being an engineer, rigid thinking is built into my being. Stepping outside the box is sometimes a challenge.

Please... be critical of my photos. I can take it, you can't work in the automotive industry without having been beaten to hell these days.
