Doing photography only as an enthusiast (weekend warrior). Currently in my arsenal, I have a Canon EOS "1.6X crop" Rebel 500D/T1i, BG-E5 grip, Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8L USM lens, Canon EF-S 10-22 f/3.5-4.5 USM lens, Manfrotto 190XB black tripod, Manfrotto 804RC2 basic pan tilt head.

Once in a while, if my wife let's me borrow it, I would have the luxury of using the "full-frame" goodness of the Canon EOS 5D Mark II, Canon EF 24-105 f/4L IS USM lens, Canon EF 85 f/1.2L II USM lens, BG-E6 grip, 580EX II speedlight flash.

The reason am doing photography now is, my wife. She started all this. I've been to a lot of countries due to my Military deployments since 1994 but, never came back with decent photographs (evidence). Now, all that has changed.
