I caught the shutterbug from my dearest mother, who's always had a camera attached to her. As a kid I loved looking at all the pictures my mom had taken. Now I've come to appreciate it as an art form. I've never taken a class, but would like to and probably will. Sadly, I don't have the caliber of talent that I'd like, but I know that my friends and family enjoy the snapshots.

My favorite subjects are my friends, family, and loved ones. I want to keep them the same way they are in one single moment, the look in their eyes, the smile across their face, just to look back and cherish it a little longer. Life goes too quickly to not capture it on film, and it's too precious to forget.
