    lynneelkins says:

"I remember as a small child growing up in the stifling climate of east berlin loving music, especially my father's violin playing. I remember watching papa sit by the fire place night after night playing the violin while the fire seemed to dance in tune with the rhythym. One day, I decided I would like to give it a try. So I picked up the violin and began to play. Lo! I played magnifiicantly. I played even better than papa. Unfortunetly he agreed to he threw the violin into the fire place, never to be played again. After a lecture he banned me from the house indefinitely. As I was walking down the stree with my head hung low, a pack of wild dogs attacked me. I shrieked and tried to fight them off. All of the sudden they just seemed to back away from me and start barking. I looked up and saw my neighbor Hanza blowing a dog whistle. I looked around in amazement and saw my father was watching the scene too. I said my thanks and asked how she knew I was being attacked by dogs. She said Jesus told her, and to repay her I must give me life to Christ. From here on out two things were never the same: no one in my family ever played, listened to discussed music ever again and we all became devout christians. I think I heard Hanza say as she was heading back to her property, "Viva La Hanza"."
